TURKEY HIGHLIGHTED AS INVESTMENT PROPERTY HOTSPOT

Turkey has been named as one of the "hottest emerging markets in the world" for property investment.
A report by Amberlamb suggests that the country where east meets west is the next location investors should turn their attention to.
The country's old city of Istanbul is earmarked as a particularly fruitful investment area and it is said that luxury property there is "par for the course".
In addition to the likelihood of the property growing in value, there is apparently a high tenant demand for Turkey property in locations close to the main business districts in the country.
Buy-to-let investors can "enjoy the relative comfort that off-plan payment arrangements offer, seek finance on the completed project and know that once the apartment in Istanbul is finished there will probably have been an increase in underlying value", the website states.
Istanbul is also European Capital of Culture in 2010 - a label that tends to prompt interest from around the world in the form of tourism and investment.
