RETIREES SET TO MOVE TO TURKEY

A growing number of people are choosing to spend their retirement years in Turkey, an expert has revealed.
John Howell, a partner at the International Law Partnership, stated that the country is proving to be very popular with Britons in particular.
He said the low cost of living in Turkey enables older expatriates to "live very well" on a state pension - something which is very difficult in the UK.
The recent growth in the number of people setting up home in the country has prompted Mr Howell to predict that this trend will continue over the foreseeable future.
He commented: "People are living in Turkey permanently because they love the place and because it is cheap."
Mr Howell added that the increasing number of expats choosing to live in Turkey would create various economic benefits for the country.
According to Today's Zaman, people from Europe have spent more than £5 billion on Turkish property since 2002.
