Travel To and Around Bodrum
The new Milas-Bodrum airport was opened last year. It is completely connected with the international air route system. It is a mere 35 km from central Bodrum. The two are connected by a good coastal road.
Bodrum can also be accessed by ferry from a selection of Italian harbours.
Bodrum has an excellent minibus (Dolmush) system. Its services run all day and, in summer, also most of the night. Car rental is generally ill advised as the region’s roads are pretty worn out and have sub-standard signage.
