Nature in Antalya
Antalya’s natural surrounds offer beautiful sights and experiences. The Duden Waterfalls lie slightly north-east of Antalya and plunge dramatically into the sea. There is a rest area near the upper extremes offering incredible views and the opportunity to walk behind the falls.
Kursunla Waterfalls and Nilifer Lake are within easy reach from Antalya, and provide equally beautiful retreats.
Antalya province contains two impressive conservation areas. The Olympos-Bey Mountains Nature Park features an abundance of fauna and flora, in addition to fascinating archaeological ruins. The Koprulu Canyon Nature Park is an important preservation ground of the Cupressus sempervivens tree, and also contains some rare animal species.
