Built in 2004, Moura Praia is a beautiful gated development constructed to a high standard. It boasts all the facilities you would expect from a world-class holiday complex. A short walk through its picturesque gardens leads to the swimming pool, complete with changing facilities. The whole complex gives a feeling of understated, modern calm thanks to its fresh, contemporary styling, and there are great views. There is lift access, and underground garage parking is included so the busy parking in the nearby marina need not be a worry.

The apartments are fully furnished and ready to enjoy. All have hot and cold air conditioning. The main bedrooms have queen-size beds and ensuite bathrooms complete with whirlpool baths and showers. The second bedrooms have twin beds and showers. There is accommodation for an extra two guests on the sofa beds in the sitting rooms, and the fully-equipped kitchens have cookers, fridge-freezers, dishwashers, microwaves and washing machines. The furnished balconies boast sea views, and there are nice finishing touches including DVD players, mini hi-fis and cable TV.

The company that owns this complex is environmentally conscious and has made every effort to protect nature within the resort. Due to the size of the resort, nearly every type of sport or entertainment is available within minutes, not least the long, sandy Atlantic beach. There are four and five-star hotels nearby, and in the centre of Vilamoura is a well-preserved Roman site and museum.
