Beaches in Albufeira
Each of Albufeira’s many beaches has a distinctly unique character. The town beach is a long strip of sand enclosed by the city. It is one of the most popular, and features fascinating rock formations, caves and grottoes.
For those in search of a more peaceful beach experience, Praia da Oura is just 2 km from the city centre. Praia da Gale is slightly further afield, and boasts the classic Algarve rock formations, while Falesia offers endless miles of endless sand, as well as tourist and sports facilities.
