Travel To and Around Marrakech


Marrakech is served by Menara Airport. It receives both domestic and international flights. There are no bus services from the airport. The standard means of getting to Marrakech is the “petits taxi”.

Public buses offer a regular services throughout Marrakech. There is also an extensive taxi network. The “Grands taxis” accommodate up to six people at a time, and probably offer the least expensive transport option.

Marrakech is well connected by train. There are daily services to and from Tangier, Casablanca, Rabat and Fez. The main train station is situated on Avenue Hassan II.

Car rental is another option. Marrakech enjoys good road links with all other major destinations, and the roads are generally in a good condition.
