MORE BRITONS SET TO MOVE ABROAD

An increasing number of Britons are set to move abroad within the next 20 years, experts have predicted.
Research by NatWest found that the majority of expatriates from the UK left the country in order to improve their quality of life and reduce their cost of living.
The growing popularity of emigrating in recent years has prompted the firm to suggest that the number of Britons choosing to live abroad will continue to grow.
NatWest stated that many of these are likely to be retirees, since people are now living much longer.
The firm also revealed most British expats believed that moving abroad had improved their lives, as they felt happier, healthier and have a greater sense of well-being.
Spokesperson Dave Isley said this showed that for many people, "the grass can indeed be greener on the other side".
This follows research from HiFX which revealed that the overall level of interest in moving to another country went up by almost a quarter in 2007.
