RAIL LINK TO BOOST FRENCH TOURISM

Tourism in Paris is likely to be boosted by recent accessibility improvements, experts have suggested.
Travel firm Thomas Cook highlighted the French capital as a likely hotspot for British leisure travellers during the Easter break.
According to the company, interest in the city has been boosted in recent months by upgrades to the transport network, such as the creation of a high-speed rail link between the UK and France.
Eurostar's new service allows passengers to travel from London to Paris through the Channel Tunnel in only two hours and 15 minutes.
This is about 20 minutes quicker than previous services and a development which has encouraged more people to take the train to the city.
A Thomas Cook spokesperson commented: "Eurostar's recent move to St Pancras [makes Paris] more accessible throughout the UK."
This follows Aer Lingus' announcement that it will begin offering flights between Belfast and Paris in March.
