MOST EXPATS ARE RICHER AFTER MOVING

A new poll has revealed that 90 per cent of British expats consider themselves financially better off than when they lived in the UK.
According to figures from NatWest, the average salary in the UK is about £47,000.
However, the firm also found that a person's annual earnings in Italy can be as much as £76,000, while people living in France can pocket £73,000 a year.
Since many of these countries also offer a lower cost of living than the UK, moving abroad could potentially be a good way of saving money in the long run.
David Isley, head of NatWest International Personal Banking, commented: "The wage packets of expats are very encouraging for people who are looking to move abroad."
The company found that most expats also feel happier and healthier now that they live in another country.
This comes shortly after Paul Arthur of The Emigration Group told the Manchester Evening News that the number of people from the UK moving abroad would continue to rise over the next few years.
