Nature in the Red Sea Coast


The Red Sea Coast is a fine example of nature-based tourism. In addition to a range of ecological cruises, the marine environment may be explored by scuba diving and snorkeling expeditions.

The area’s area’s natural lifeblood is rich and thriving. Four species of marine turtles (the green, loggerhead, hawksbill and leatherback) nest along the coast every year. It is also an internationally important migratory route for millions of birds that pass through Egypt and rest in the welcoming conditions along the Red Sea on their annual southbound journeys.
