CYPRUS HAS GOOD INVESTMENT POTENTIAL

Cyprus has been flagged up as a possible option for overseas property investors to consider.
According to the Galway Advertiser, the Mediterranean island offers a strong and expanding property market and the potential to collect good returns.
The publication stated that house prices in the country have gone up by about 15 per cent per annum in the last few years.
This means that anyone who chooses to sell up at a later date could put it on the market for more than its original purchase price.
However, the newspaper added that Cyprus is also proving to be a very popular holiday destination, a development which has created increased rental demand across the island.
The Galway Advertiser remarked: "Many shrewd Irish investors have noted these opportunities and have purchased properties in Cyprus."
This comes after the Home Move website credited Cyprus's entry into the European Union four years ago with helping to drive its recent growth.
