TOURISTS 'WANT TO LIVE IN CAPE VERDE'

Holidaymakers heading to Cape Verde like what they see and often want to live on the islands, it has been reported.

A report in the Sun indicates that the location is a particularly lucrative investment property destination.

Reporting the story of one couple from West Sussex, the publication reveals how they have already seen a return on the investment they made in Cape Verde having only owned the property for a relatively short time.

David and Trisha Hunter from Bognor Regis may even use any money they make to purchase another property on a neighbouring, but more quiet, island.

Mr Hunter told the newspaper: "In four or five years property prices are going to double or even treble and if you want it as an investment then this is the place to be."

The Professional Windsurfers Association World Cup event started last week on Cape Verde's Sal island, offering further evidence that the location off the coast of West Africa can attract visitors from across the globe.
