St Ivan complex is located in the southern area of Bansko, to the east of the ski lifts in the foothills of the Pirin mountain. The central part of the complex will be an entertainment and recreation area. Its elevated position provides splendid panoramic views to the town and mountains.
The St Ivan complex comprises eight blocks of apartments plus shops, an indoor swimming pool, a spa centre, restaurants and bars. The five-storey structures surround a beautifully landscaped space. All apartments incorporate spacious balconies or terraces on their ground-floor levels. The architectural concept borrows from local traditions using materials and details typical for the region of Bansko - a combination of stonework, wood boarding, wooden balustrades and roof details.
The complex boasts 35 studio apartments with floor areas of about 35 sq metres; 240 one-bedroom apartments with floor areas of 40 to 53 sq metres; 65 two-bedroom apartments with floor areas of 60 to 72 sq metres; and 34 penthouse apartments with floor areas from 49 to 94 sq metres. The apartments are designed and built with materials of the highest quality, and adhere to the latest standards. Each property offers magnificent views across the surrounding areas.
Pirin is the second highest and arguably the most beautiful Bulgarian mountain. It is a national treasure, included on the Unesco World Natural Heritage list. The most famous and frequently visited place in the region is the historic town of Bansko. It is the newest Bulgarian winter destination, recently discovered by foreign tourists. The old-fashioned feel of many of the houses in Bansko, built during the nineteenth century, make it a very atmospheric place.
